What analytics tool do you actually use

Basiq Ali Basiq Ali 2 months ago
Let's talk analytics for a minute.
Google Analytics is still the industry standard and honestly, for good reason. It's powerful, detailed, and trusted by millions of websites. Nobody's taking that crown away.
But here's the thing: not everyone needs the same thing from their analytics tool.
Some folks want something lighter. Some need better privacy. Some just want a dashboard they can actually understand without a PhD. And that's where other tools come in.
Here are a few tools mentioned:
๐Ÿ‘‰ Plausible Analytics โ€” Super lightweight, privacy-focused, and the dashboard is clean enough that you'll actually check it
๐Ÿ‘‰
Fathom Analytics โ€” If you want simple and GDPR-compliant without the cookie banner headache
๐Ÿ‘‰
Matomo โ€” Open source, you can self-host it, and you own 100% of your data
๐Ÿ‘‰
Mixpanel โ€” Great if you're running a product and need deep user behavior insights
These aren't here to replace Google Analytics. They're just options for different needs.
Curious what you all are running these days.
